As a student uses the math practice and test modules on Sqooasha, the student earns points, which are tracked using the student's username. If this student is connected with other students on Sqooasha, which are called Sqooasha-friends, this student, along with his or her friends on the platform are ranked based on their earned points. This ranking serves as a motivation for each student to strive to earn more points to become the highest ranked student among the group of friends.
